Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Approcha(“Approcha,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit our website, create an account, use our SMS/MMS marketing platform, or opt in to receive text messages from us. By using Approcha or providing your information, you agree to this Policy.
Mobile information is never sold. We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent (opt-in) data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. See Mobile & SMS messaging below.
1. Who we are and our two roles
Approcha provides a platform that lets businesses send text-message marketing to people who have consented to hear from them. We handle personal information in two different roles:
- As a controller — for information about our own account holders, website visitors, and people who opt in to receive messages directly from Approcha.
- As a processor/service provider— for the contact lists and audience data that our business customers upload and manage. That data belongs to the business (the “customer”), and we process it only to provide the service, under the customer’s instructions and their own privacy notice.
2. Information we collect
- Account information — name, email, password, business name, and workspace settings.
- Audience data (customer-provided) — the contact names, phone numbers, email addresses, and consent status that a business uploads to send its own campaigns.
- SMS opt-in information — when you opt in to receive texts from Approcha, we collect your phone number, the date/time and source of your consent, and your opt-out status.
- Payment information — processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
- Usage & device data — log data, IP address, browser/device type, and interactions with the service, used to operate and secure the platform.
3. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and secure the platform and deliver messages you or our customers send.
- To create and manage accounts, process payments, and provide support.
- To send you service and transactional messages, and — where you have opted in — occasional updates from Approcha.
- To comply with legal obligations, including messaging and consent (TCPA/CTIA) requirements, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
4. Mobile & SMS messaging
If you provide your phone number and consent (for example, through our SMS opt-in pageor a business’s own sign-up), you may receive recurring marketing or informational text messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the sharing described in this Policy excludes text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of any purchase. We honor opt-out requests promptly and maintain records of consent as required by law.
5. How we share information
We share personal information only as described here:
- Service providers that help us run the platform — our messaging carrier (Telnyx), infrastructure and database provider (Supabase), payment processor (Stripe), and hosting — bound by contract to use it only to provide their services to us. This is a limited exception that excludes SMS opt-in data being used for anyone’s marketing.
- Our business customers, for the audience data they own and uploaded.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share mobile/SMS opt-in data for third-party marketing.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations (including consent and opt-out records), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Customers can delete audience data from their workspace; we delete or de-identify data when it is no longer needed.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and tenant isolation — to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify affected parties of incidents as required by law.
8. Your choices and rights
- Opt out of Approcha texts anytime by replying STOP; opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
- If your data was uploaded by a business using Approcha, contact that business (the data controller); we will assist them as their processor.
9. Children
Approcha is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated as required by law.
